Chris Minh Doky is a bassist who in his recording career has looked at jazz from a number of different perspectives: funk, electronic, straight-ahead, orchestral. He’s played with some of the great names in electric jazz such as Mike Stern and the Brecker Brothers, and also gained global renown with his own trio and current band, the Nomads. For his next project he is taking inspiration from his Nordic homeland of Denmark.
